Fence questions, answered

Do I need a survey before you build?

If you're building on or near a property line, we strongly recommend it. We can work from an existing plat, but we won't guess where a boundary is — we'll set the fence a few inches inside the line if you're unsure.

How deep do you set posts?

At least 36 inches, below our local frost line, in concrete. Gate posts go deeper and are steel-reinforced so gates don't sag.

Who handles permits and utility locates?

We do. Locates are called in at least three business days before build day, and permit fees are included in your quote.

Should I stain my new cedar fence right away?

Wait 6–8 weeks so the wood can dry, then seal. Add our stain package and we'll come back to do it at the right time.

Do you offer financing?

Yes, through a third-party lender, subject to credit approval. Ask during your site measure for current terms.
